O levantamento foi feito pela ABSOLAR (Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Energia Solar Fotovoltaica), que afirmou em nota que o pa\u00eds entrou em 2018 com um crescimento de 1.153% na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de energia a partir das instala\u00e7\u00f5es fotovoltaicas.O n\u00famero \u00e9 hist\u00f3rico, j\u00e1 que esse n\u00edvel s\u00f3 foi alcan\u00e7ado por 30 pa\u00edses no mundo todo. Ainda de acordo com a ABSOLAR, o crescimento expressivo na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de energia fotovoltaica se d\u00e1 em consequ\u00eancia das usinas compradas em leil\u00f5es. Os arremates aconteceram em 2014 e 2015, e a gera\u00e7\u00e3o gerada pelas usinas \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pela produ\u00e7\u00e3o de 0,935 GW de pot\u00eancia.
